Visa Application
All visitors must hold a passport or a valid travel document for travel to Macao.

All visitors are required to have a visa except nationals of countries which are exempted from a visa or entry permit. For more information on "Visa" and "Entry Permit" Exemption, please visit the website of the Macao Immigration Services of Public Security Police Force.

A Macao visa can be obtained through the Embassies/Consulates of the PRC and should be used within its validity. Visitors may also apply for an entry permit or visa upon arrival at the immigration checkpoint. Types of entry permit (i.e. Visa-upon-arrival):
Individual - MOP$100 (MOP$50 for children under the age of 12)
Family Passport - MOP$200
Group - MOP$50 per person for groups of at least 10 people organized by a single travel manager and presenting a collective travel document.

Required Documents for Visa Application:
1. A completed Macao Visa Application Form;
2. Photocopies of the bio data page and used inside pages of a valid passport/travel document.
3. Document of financial status (e.g. bank statement, deposit in savings account, tax payment receipt, employment certificate, etc.)
4. Document of transportation to Macao and accommodation arrangement (e.g. round-trip air ticket and hotel room reservation receipts, etc.)
5. Pages carrying important information in a travel document previously used to come to Macao (if any);
6. Valid entry visa or residence visa/permit of other countries or regions (if any);
7. Recent 1.5-inch full face white background color photo.
8. Proof of purpose of visit, such as: Invitation letter.

The Conference Organizing Committee cannot issue visas for attending the conference but can provide an Invitation letter to assist with your visa application.

Please send your request to info@wreconf.org. You must include:

1. Your full name as it appears on your passport;
2. Your passport number;
3. Your nationality;
4. Your date of birth;
5. Your paper/abstract number.

Please NOTE that invitation letter will only be issued upon confirmation of registration and after full payment for registration fee has been received. Invitation letters are only provided via email in PDF format and will be sent within approximately one week after your information is received by the Organizing Committee.
